Good humans with great minds.
Two co-founders. One mission. Since 5 February 2017.
A Letter to Parents
Originally written in 2017 by the co-founders; lightly refreshed for today’s vision.
Dear Parents,
Welcome to Profiquence Academy.
The stepping stone of Profiquence was laid on 5 February 2017 by two educationists — Anish Agarwal (BE Electrical) and Prit Kumar Singh (M.Tech Electrical). Two engineers who chose the classroom over the desk.
The idea behind Profiquence was simple, and it still is. Studying should never feel like a duty handed to a child. The world is phenomenal, and knowing how it works is amazing — when seen and shown correctly. The waxing and waning of the moon is more fascinating when displayed than when heard. India’s struggle for freedom is far more awe-inspiring when dramatised than when memorised. Why we need trigonometry must be conveyed before you start drawing the angles.
That is what we try to do, every day, in every class.
We don’t deliver answers and ask students to memorise them. We develop the questions first, let the doubts arise, and walk together towards the right way. We adopt new methods and techniques whenever better ones come along. And we hold our teachers to one quiet standard:
“Would you want to be a student in your own class? If no, you are not doing it right.”
With that thought in mind, we work to bring out the genius in every child — not just the ones who would have succeeded anywhere.
During this journey, all we ask of you is a little partnership. We care deeply about the people our students grow up to become.
Warmly,
Anish Agarwal & Prit Kumar Singh

From the Founders

Anish Agarwal
BE Electrical · Co-Founder
“In India, following your passion is like jumping from a 40-story building. Either you’ll learn to fly or you’ll fall. If you fall, education will act as a cushion — make sure you have a strong cushion.”

“Education is my lucky charm — it opens doors, lights paths, and turns dreams into reality. It worked for me, and I want it to work for all. Ensuring everyone is privileged with this lucky charm is my mission.”
